Teplitzstraße in Wiesbaden closed until May 19 due to gas line repairs

A section of Teplitzstraße in Wiesbaden will stay closed until at least Tuesday, May 19. The shutdown follows urgent repairs to a damaged gas line by ESWE Versorgungs-AG. Drivers and cyclists are facing changes to their usual routes.

The full closure stretches from Breslauer Straße, blocking all vehicle access. Temporary traffic lights now control flow on Breslauer Straße, stopping drivers from turning in from Bunsenstraße. Nearby, Bunsenstraße itself has partial restrictions in place.

Pedestrians can still follow their normal paths without disruption. Cyclists, however, must find alternative ways around the affected areas. The work is part of wider maintenance efforts in the city. Residents can check an interactive map for updates on other construction sites. More roadwork details are also listed on the official city website, www.wiesbaden.de.

The repairs aim to fix the gas line as quickly as possible. Until then, traffic will remain diverted, and cyclists will need to adjust their journeys. The city has provided online resources to help people plan ahead.
