Drunken man attacks police with scissors in Wiesbaden domestic dispute

A domestic dispute in Wiesbaden-Klarenthal escalated on Thursday evening after a 56-year-old man turned violent. Police intervened at an apartment on Carl-von-Ossietzky-Straße, where the situation quickly became aggressive.

The incident began around 8:30 p.m. when officers responded to reports of a family argument. Initially, all parties involved were cooperative. However, the man refused to leave the apartment when instructed.

As tensions rose, the intoxicated suspect grabbed a pair of scissors from a hallway dresser drawer. He then resisted arrest, kicking at officers and attempting to bite a female officer. During the struggle, one officer suffered minor wrist injuries. Police eventually subdued the man and took him into custody. He now faces multiple charges, including resisting law enforcement.

The suspect remains in police custody following the violent confrontation. The injured officer received treatment for minor wrist injuries. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
