Woman injured after car veers off rural road in early-morning crash

A 35-year-old woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash early on Saturday, August 23. The accident happened on L3306, a local road between Heringen-Wölfershausen and Heringen-Lengers, at around 6:26 a.m. Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene to assist the driver.

The driver, from Heringen, was travelling along L3306 when her car left the road in a right-hand bend. The vehicle veered left and came to rest in a grassy area beside the carriageway. She suffered minor injuries and was taken to Bad Hersfeld Hospital for outpatient treatment.

Police from Bad Hersfeld and an ambulance from Heringen attended the scene. The car was too damaged to drive and had to be towed away. Authorities estimate the vehicle sustained around €3,000 in damage.

The woman received medical care and was discharged after treatment. The road was cleared once the vehicle was removed. Investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
