Wetzlar: Over 900,000 euros in cash and cocaine seized - Drug dealer in custody
During an investigation into suspected organized drug trafficking involving cocaine, amphetamines, and cannabis in large quantities, the Wetzlar Criminal Police searched several apartments in Wetzlar and Aßlar on Wednesday of last week (10 September) based on a court order. The officers seized one kilogram of cocaine, 300 grams of cannabis, a blank-firing pistol, mobile phones, and over 900,000 euros.
In April of this year, two Albanian nationals aged 30 and 34 came under the scrutiny of the investigating authorities. The drug enforcement officers found and arrested the men during a search. At the request of the Wetzlar Public Prosecutor's Office, the duo was brought before a judge on Friday. After the judge issued a warrant, the suspects were taken into custody.
