Mikun Library's 2.5M-ruble renovation kicks off after competitive bidding

Repairs Begin on Library in Mikun, Ust-Vym District

The results of an electronic auction for renovations at the Mikun Library, a branch of the Ust-Vym Library System, have been published on the government procurement portal. The initial contract value was 3.15 million rubles, funded by a subsidy for the development of model municipal libraries.

Four bidders met the tender requirements, with the winning company offering to complete the work for 2.5 million rubles. The second-lowest bid came in just 16,000 rubles higher, while the other two proposals were priced at 2.68 million and 2.27 million rubles, respectively. As of publication, the contractor's name has not been disclosed.

According to the technical documentation, the renovation must be completed by July 15, 2026.

As previously reported by Komiinform, the Republic of Komi plans to open 14 new children's cultural and leisure centers over the next three years, upgrade five community centers and seven children's music schools, equip 24 art schools, provide technical upgrades for 24 museums, and establish a total of 72 model libraries.
