Two cars stolen overnight in Offenbach as police hunt for clues

Two cars stolen overnight in Offenbach as police hunt for clues

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, two vehicles were stolen in Offenbach. Criminal investigators are now probing whether the thefts are connected.

One of the cars—a red Hyundai Tucson with Offenbach license plates—had been parked in a lot on Mainstraße around 8:45 p.m. on Monday evening, according to police. When the owner returned to use the vehicle the next morning at around 10 a.m., it had vanished.

White Toyota Also Taken from Residential Street

A white Toyota Corolla was also targeted by thieves. The car had been left parked along the roadside in the 40s block of Hesselbuschstraße. Police estimate the theft occurred between 8 p.m. on Monday and 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday.

Authorities have yet to determine how the perpetrators bypassed the vehicles' security systems. Investigators are also examining whether the two incidents are related.

Police Seek Witnesses

Criminal police are appealing to the public for information. Anyone who noticed suspicious activity overnight or has relevant details about the thefts is urged to contact investigators at +49 69 8098-1234.
