Driver trapped after car flips on Federal Highway 3 near Heppenheim

A traffic accident occurred on Federal Highway 3 (B3) on Monday afternoon (September 15) at around 2:55 p.m. Between the Laudenbach-Nord roundabout and the Odenwaldquelle, a 26-year-old driver from Lautertal veered off the road to the right for reasons still unknown and rolled his vehicle. The Heppenheim fire department rescued the trapped and injured driver. The car was completely destroyed. During rescue and recovery operations, the federal highway was temporarily closed in both directions for approximately one hour.
