  1. Prohibited Motor Vehicle Race

(nzi) Early Saturday morning, a prohibited motor vehicle race occurred in the Taunusstraße / Sonnenberger Straße area. A pedestrian reported three vehicles repeatedly driving up and down the street at significantly excessive speeds. The drivers were observed communicating with each other.

Patrol units quickly arrived and stopped a 20-year-old driver of a Seat Cupra and a 19-year-old driver of a Ford. The third vehicle, described as a silver vehicle of unknown make, could not be located.

Both drivers were charged and temporarily relieved of their vehicles and mobile phones.

  1. Police Officer Assaulted

Wiesbaden, Loreleiring Saturday, 27.09.2025, 11:40 PM

(pk) Saturday evening, a 32-year-old man assaulted a police officer in the Loreleiring area of Wiesbaden. The man initially insulted the officer, then resisted arrest and struck at the officers. He was subdued and temporarily detained.

The officers were unharmed.

Due to his intoxication, he was taken into police custody for sobering up.

He was charged with insulting an officer and resisting arrest.

  1. Theft from Vehicle

Wiesbaden, Rheinstraße 25 Friday, 26.09.2025, 03:00 PM

(nzi) Friday afternoon, a bag containing a valuable coin collection and cash was stolen from an unlocked car.

At around 03:00 PM, the victim left their vehicle unattended for a few minutes without locking it. An unknown perpetrator took advantage of this opportunity to steal the coin collection. The victim did not notice anyone near their vehicle.

  1. Young Woman Harassed on Bus

Wiesbaden, Mitte, Adlerstraße/Schwalbacher Straße Saturday, 27.09.2025, 12:00 PM

(cp) A young woman was harassed on a bus by an unknown man on Saturday.

The 20-year-old woman from Wiesbaden boarded the line 6 bus towards Mainz at the Adlerstraße stop. A man boarded the bus at the same stop and sat next to her, repeatedly moving closer until there was no more space between them. When she asked him to stop and tried to move away, he followed her movements. She threatened to call the police and take his photo, at which point he became aggressive and tried to grab her phone. She shouted at him and got off the bus at the Schwalbacher Straße stop. She then re-boarded the bus with a friend to confront him again, but he denied everything and got off at the Landeshaus stop.

He is described as 180 cm tall, with dark skin, acne scars, short black hair, a beard, wearing a checked shirt, an orange jacket, dark jeans, a distinctive Kenyan flag armband, and carrying a black bag.

  1. Burglary in Single-Family House Wiesbaden, Duden Street Friday 26.09.2025, 18:00 - 27.09.2025, 00:30

(nzi) In the evening hours of Friday, there was a break-in at a single-family house in Duden Street. Unknown perpetrators gained entry through a forced window and stole valuable jewelry. After committing the crime, the perpetrators fled undetected.

The criminal police have taken up the investigation and are accepting tips at 0611/345-0.

  1. Control measures "Secure Wiesbaden Together", Wiesbaden, Friday, 26.09.2025, 17:00 to Saturday, 27.09.2025, 01:00

(nzi) This weekend, the state police, along with forces from the Hessian riot police and the city police, conducted joint control measures as part of the "Secure Wiesbaden" concept.

The Reisinger facilities, Luisenplatz, and Liliencarré were the main focus of police control measures this time. Additionally, foot patrols were conducted in the pedestrian zone and at the Wiesbaden city festival. The forces also supported the Wiesbaden police stations with their tasks.

In total, 32 people were encountered and checked during the measures.

Two of the checked persons were found to have violated the Narcotics Act, and appropriate criminal proceedings were initiated. Otherwise, there were no other notable incidents during the controls.

In the future, the state police and the city of Wiesbaden will continue to conduct joint control measures to increase the sense of security among citizens and be approachable to them.
