On Sunday, September 28, 2025, at approximately 4:20 PM, a fatal traffic accident occurred on the L3050 between Mittenaar-Bicken and Siegbach-Eisemroth. A 66-year-old motorcyclist was traveling on the road towards Siegbach when he suddenly started swerving for unknown reasons. The motorcyclist then crashed into the guardrail and sustained severe injuries, dying at the scene despite immediate rescue efforts. The motorcycle was seized for further investigation. The road was fully closed due to the accident from 4:20 PM to 6:35 PM. Witnesses are asked to contact the Herborn police station at 02772/47050.
