Wiesbaden's 2026 Integration Prize Opens for Community Heroes

Wiesbaden is preparing to award its Integration Prize for the 19th time in 2026. The honour recognises individuals and groups who strengthen community bonds in the city. Winners will receive €2,500 for their contributions. The prize is open to anyone aged 14 or older living in Wiesbaden. Nominations and self-applications are both encouraged. Submissions must arrive by Wednesday, 1 April 2026, either by post to Alcide-de-Gasperi-Straße 2 or via email at [email protected].

A 12-member jury, drawn from different community groups, will judge the entries. Their criteria include innovation, long-term impact, and the balance between effort and results. Each project or initiative can win only once. The award has been given annually since its introduction. Previous editions have celebrated a range of local efforts, though specific past winners or projects remain undisclosed.

The €2,500 prize will go to the most outstanding contribution to community cohesion. Organisers hope the award will inspire further grassroots initiatives across Wiesbaden. Applications close in early April 2026.
