Failed break-in at Darmstadt apartment leaves police seeking witnesses

Criminals gained access to the stairwell of a multi-family building in Berliner Allee on Thursday (25.9.) in an unknown manner. From there, the unknown individuals gained access to the third floor between 9:00 and 16:00, where they repeatedly tried to force open an apartment door until it opened. They then searched the apartment and presumably left the building via the main entrance. According to current knowledge, nothing was stolen.

Witnesses who noticed anything suspicious during the mentioned time period or noticed any suspicious persons in the house are asked to contact the Kommissariat 21/22 in Darmstadt under the telephone number 06151/969-0.
