(lei) Three teenagers, aged 15, 16, and 17, were caught red-handed at Hanau Central Station on Thursday evening, suspected of shoplifting. Around 7 pm, the group allegedly took several groceries from a self-service store and left without paying. Two store detectives witnessed the incident and detained the teenagers until the police arrived.

During a search, police found a loaded blank-firing pistol on the 17-year-old and a knife on the 15-year-old. Both items were confiscated. The teenagers were taken to the police station and later handed over to their guardians. The police are now investigating for suspected theft and violation of the weapons law.
