Wiesbaden bus routes face year-long detours starting May 11

Bus services in Wiesbaden-Medenbach will face changes from May 11 due to roadworks. Oberbergstraße will close, forcing two routes to take alternative paths. The disruption is set to last over a year, until June 5, 2026. Routes 21 and N10 will both be affected by the closure. When heading toward Wiesbaden city centre, buses will leave their usual path at 'Am Wald' and follow a detour via 'Rossertstraße' before returning to the normal route.

For journeys toward Medenbach, the buses will run as usual until reaching 'Am Sportfeld'. From there, they will divert to 'Rossertstraße' and 'Am Wald' before continuing their standard route.

The temporary changes begin on May 11 and will remain in place until mid-2026. Passengers on both routes should check updated timetables and stop locations during the closure. Alternative travel arrangements may be needed for those relying on the diverted sections.
