Weekend crime spree leaves Fulda with over €24,000 in damages

Assault
Neuhof. On Saturday evening (September 6), at around 11:40 p.m., an assault occurred in Neuhof. According to current findings, a 16-year-old became involved in an argument with a group of people during a celebration at the community center. The altercation moved from the forecourt to nearby Hanauer Straße, where it escalated into a physical confrontation outside a snack bar. The teenager was struck in the face by multiple individuals from the group and sustained injuries. The assailants then fled the scene. Car Windows Smashed
Fulda. In the early hours of Sunday (September 7), at around 4:15 a.m., two unknown individuals smashed the windows of a black Volkswagen Golf on Joostraße before fleeing in the direction of Goerdelerstraße. The victim noticed the damage and alerted police. The suspects are described as approximately 165 cm tall and dressed in dark clothing. The incident caused roughly €8,000 in property damage. Car Vandalized with Scratches
Hünfeld. During the night leading into Sunday (June 7), unknown perpetrators scratched the paint of a red Volkswagen Polo parked in a fire station lot on Großenbacher Tor. The damage is estimated at around €1,000.
Künzell. In the Dietershausen district of Künzell, vandals also targeted three vehicles—a black Toyota Proace, a black Toyota Yaris, and a black Volkswagen Passat—parked on Marienhöhe. The total damage amounts to approximately €2,000.
Garden Sauna Fire
Ebersburg. In the early hours of Sunday (September 7), a freestanding garden sauna caught fire on Hühnerskropf in the Thalau district. A local resident noticed the blaze and notified emergency services. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fully engulfed sauna. E-Bike Stolen
Fulda. On Saturday (September 6), between 7:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m., unknown thieves stole a green-and-black Moustache Samedi model e-bike from Gerbergasse. The bicycle, valued at approximately €3,000, had been secured with a folding lock to a steel bracket. Witnesses should contact the Osthessen Police Headquarters.
