Florstadt: Burglaries on Saturday evening

After failing to break into the window of a single-family house in Waldstraße in Nieder-Florstadt between 20:00 and 21:30 on Saturday evening (27.09.2025), the burglars entered through the front door. The perpetrators searched the entire house and made off with a small safe containing figurines. Between 18:45 and 22:15, unknown individuals gained access to a single-family house in Wilhelm-Alles-Ring in Ober-Florstadt via a balcony door on the first floor. They also searched all the rooms and stole a wallet. The Friedberg Criminal Police are asking for witnesses who may have seen suspicious persons or vehicles in both cases to contact them at 06031 6010.

Nidda: Distracted by tricksters

On Thursday afternoon (25.09.2025) around 17:00, a woman and a teenager entered a store in Bismarckstraße in Nidda. They claimed they wanted to buy something but could only pay with a 200 EUR note. The distraction of the seller allowed the thieving duo to pocket a donation box containing about 100 EUR in cash. The woman is described as being 30-40 years old, about 160-165 cm tall, with straight black hair tied back in the middle, and a darker complexion. She was wearing a blue jacket and a pink jogging suit. Her accomplice was 13-15 years old, about 165-170 cm tall, with black hair, a light beard, and a darker complexion. He was wearing a dark pullover and dark jogging pants. The Criminal Police are investigating and asking: Who noticed the described persons on Thursday afternoon? Who can provide information about their identity? Please call 06031 6010.

Friedberg: Phones stolen and fled

Just before 13:00 on Saturday (27.09.2025), two young men entered a telecommunications store in Kaiserstraße. Another young man waited at the entrance. The two men in the store snatched five smartphones from a display and then ran off with their accomplice towards the town church. The three young men are estimated to be around 20 years old, about 170 cm tall, and have black hair. Witnesses who observed the incident or noticed the described men on Saturday afternoon can call the Friedberg Police at 06031 6010.
