Richtsberg launches 'Forum 2035' to redefine its neighbourhood's future together
Richtsberg is preparing for a major community event to shape the future of the neighbourhood. The 'Forum Richtsberg 2035' kickoff takes place on November 22, 2023, at the Richtsberg Comprehensive School. Residents, business owners, and local groups are all welcome to take part and share their ideas. The event starts at 2 p.m. and will focus on gathering input for the neighbourhood's development. Attendees can discuss topics like housing, social services, cultural spaces, and the local economy. The goal is to create a shared vision for Richtsberg over the next decade.
To ensure broad participation, 300 residents have been randomly selected and invited. Translation and interpretation services will be available to support everyone's involvement. The discussions will feed into an Integrated Urban Development Concept (ISEK), which must be finalised before any changes are made. Richtsberg was chosen for the second time to join the 'Social Cohesion' program. This initiative aims to improve living conditions, promote diversity, and strengthen community ties. The event itself will mix productive discussions with interactive activities, free refreshments, and an 'Open Stage' for performances.
The forum marks the start of a long-term planning process for Richtsberg. Input from the event will guide future projects under the 'Social Cohesion' program. Organisers hope for strong attendance to ensure the neighbourhood's development reflects the community's priorities.
