As a rule, police do not report on suicides or suicide attempts. In this case, we are issuing a statement because false reports have already begun circulating in the media and on social networks.

We once again urge the public to rely solely on official police statements for accurate information.

If you or someone you know is struggling with suicidal thoughts, please seek professional help. Support is available at: https://www.telefonseelsorge.de/
