Marburg-Biedenkopf seeks teamers for 2026 youth programmes

The district of Marburg-Biedenkopf is looking for volunteers to support its youth leisure and education programmes in 2026. Known as teamers, these helpers will assist with trips, workshops, and other activities. Two free information sessions will explain the role and how to apply. The Teamer role is open to anyone aged 18 or over who is responsible and enjoys working with diverse groups. Volunteers can choose from short-term commitments, such as one- or two-week recreational trips, or longer projects like multi-day educational excursions and school workshops. In return, they gain experience, meet new people, and receive a stipend.

Two information sessions will introduce the programme. The first takes place in person on January 30, 2026, at 6:00 PM in Room U057 of the Marburg District Office (Im Lichtenholz 60). The second is an online Webex video conference on February 4, 2026, also at 6:00 PM. Further details and the link to the online session are available on the district's website. No recent figures on application numbers or hires for the role have been made public.

The programme offers a chance to develop skills, take on responsibility, and explore personal strengths. Those interested can attend either session to learn more about the opportunities available in 2026.
