Free online workshop teaches how to optimize home heating systems

With energy prices on the rise, optimizing home heating systems is becoming an increasingly attractive option for many. The topic also holds strong ecological appeal for homeowners looking to reduce their environmental footprint. Often, even simple adjustments can yield noticeable results—cutting energy use and lowering costs. Against this backdrop, Steinfurt District and energieland2050 e.V. are inviting the public to a free online seminar on Tuesday, March 31, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Energy consultant Markus Felix will share practical insights on maximizing the efficiency of existing heating systems. Registration for the Zoom event is required at *www.energieland2050.de/veranstaltungen*.

Markus Felix, an advisor with North Rhine-Westphalia's Consumer Advice Center (Verbraucherzentrale NRW) and energieland2050 e.V., will explain—clearly and independently—how to fine-tune heating systems for peak performance, which technical upgrades make sense, and where the greatest savings potential lies. After the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to ask individual questions.

The event is part of the #zukunftsfit (Future-Ready) campaign and is being held in cooperation with the ALTBAUNEU (Old Buildings, New Standards) initiative. Access details will be emailed to registrants after sign-up.
