Empfertshausen's Easter Market Delights 1,000 Visitors with Crafts and Culture
Empfertshausen's Easter Market drew up to 1,000 visitors on Sunday. Held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the event showcased handmade crafts, live demonstrations, and local food. The vocational school for wood sculptors also opened its doors to the public for the occasion. The market featured over 20 vendors and exhibitors from Hesse, Bavaria, and Thuringia. Guests browsed fine wood and metal art, ceramic works, and other handcrafted items. Live carving demonstrations and a woodturning show kept crowds engaged throughout the day.
Caterer Tino Schmidt served hearty meals and freshly prepared dishes. Meanwhile, members of the RhΓΆn Woodcarvers' Association offered coffee and homemade cakes. The school band *Kellerkrach* provided live music, adding to the festive atmosphere. Prospective students visiting the wood sculptors' vocational school learned about the curriculum, workshop practices, and career opportunities. The open day gave attendees a closer look at the training programmes on offer.
