Darmstadt police seek owners of two recovered electric bicycles

The Darmstadt Police Station 43 has secured two bicycles on September 21st and 29th. Investigators are now looking for the rightful owners or witnesses with information about the origin of the bicycles.
On Sunday, September 21st, around 9:30 AM, investigators found one of the bicycles in the Herrngarten. It is a blue Canyon Pedelec model 'PATHLITE:ON M141'. Notable features of this Pedelec include a trailer hitch on the seat post and another trailer hitch near the kickstand.
On Monday, September 29th, around 9:30 AM, the second bicycle was spotted by investigators in the area of HochstraĂe. It is a white Pedelec by SMAFO, with the model currently unknown. This Pedelec has brown leather grips and a brown leather seat.
Anyone with information about the bicycles or their possible owners, or owners who recognize their bicycle in the pictures, is asked to contact the Darmstadt Criminal Police (Station 43) immediately at 06151 / 969 - 4110.
