The rider of a white motorcycle was initially traveling in the correct direction on the Egelsbach lane, then briefly stopped on the shoulder and turned around. The motorcyclist then continued in the wrong direction on the Autobahn 661, before stopping again on the shoulder after a longer stretch. After another U-turn, the two-wheeler rejoined the flow of traffic.

Between 2:30 AM and 5:10 AM, an unknown driver was traveling on the Bischof-Kaiser-Straße, lost control of the vehicle in the Industriestraße intersection due to excessive speed, left the road, overran a green strip, a traffic sign, and ultimately collided with the fence of a local company. The car and the driver were no longer at the scene, but a license plate was found. Therefore, the police currently assume that the hit-and-run vehicle was a green VW Passat.
