Biebrich braces for four-month street closures starting next week

Major construction work will start in Biebrich next week. The project will shut down two streets for nearly four months, affecting both drivers and cyclists. From Monday, March 9, Taubenstraße (between house numbers 28 and 48) and Entenstraße (between house numbers 4 and 10) will close completely. No vehicles or bicycles will be allowed through during the works.

The disruption is expected to last until the end of June. No records exist of past closures in the same area for similar canal construction projects.

Residents and commuters will need to find alternative routes for the duration. The full closure will remain in place until the work is finished in late June.
