  1. **Graffiti vandalism**,

Wiesbaden-Frauenstein, Thursday, 25.09.2025 to Friday, 26.09.2025 Several cases of graffiti vandalism were discovered in the time between Thursday and Friday in Wiesbaden-Frauenstein. Unknown individuals defaced the border of an old glass container and several walls by spraying the word "STIK On Friday evening, a routine traffic stop following a theft led to a significant amount of work for the highway police. Initially, motorists reported a silver Mazda with Belgian license plates driving erratically on the A3 heading south. A patrol from the highway police then set up to search for the car and soon after, the service station at the Bad Camberg-West rest area reported that the occupants of a Belgian Mazda had just stolen from the sales room. The patrol soon found the car and observed the erratic driving. They then stopped the vehicle at the Medenbach rest area to check the occupants. This was not easy as the driver only reluctantly followed the instruction to pull over. Eventually, the Mazda was stopped on the shoulder and the occupants were arrested. The passenger had a balaclava in his pocket and the car contained stolen goods and sedatives. All occupants were clearly under the influence of alcohol, with the driver registering over 2.4% on a test. A blood test was ordered. One of the detainees behaved very uncooperatively and tried to harm himself in the holding cell, so he had to be restrained and secured. After the police measures were completed, two of the three men were released. The third man was wanted for deportation, so he was taken to the examining magistrate and then to a detention facility. However, that was not all: when the Mazda left at the Medenbach rest area was checked, the police found that a side window had been broken and the former driver was lying inside the car. The man said he had found the car with the broken window and had then lain down inside to sleep. The police then removed the unauthorized person from the Mazda and had it towed away for safekeeping. Eventually, the men were able to prove ownership and were allowed to leave after sobering up. The highway police investigation group now has several new criminal cases to process.
