Wiesbaden hit by crime wave as thieves strike shops, homes and an ambulance

A boy robbed cash on Tuesday afternoon in the Dotzheimer Street. He initially demanded cash from a group of people on the street, threatening violence. When refused, he suddenly punched a boy in the face. As a bystander intervened, the unknown suspect fled, but not before taking cash. The boy is described as approximately 13 years old, 155cm tall, with dark short hair, freckles, wearing a pink-purple top and black pants.

An ambulance crew was attacked early Wednesday morning in Wiesbaden's Schoenaustraße. While treating a 16-year-old Wiesbaden resident in an apartment, he suddenly became aggressive, forcing the paramedics to retreat and call the police. Before police could apprehend him, he threw all the medical equipment out of the 1st floor window onto the street, causing an estimated five-figure damage. Fortunately, no personal injuries were reported.
The boy was released after police procedures. An investigation has been initiated.

A supposed handyman stole cash in the Wiesbadener Veilchenweg on Tuesday morning. The unknown man gained entry to the apartment under the pretext of checking the phone, then took jewelry and left. He is described as slim, approximately 30-35 years old, 180cm tall, with dark hair, speaking German without an accent.
Police warn against letting unknown handymen into homes unless they are known to be legitimate. Even in apparent emergency situations, such as claimed water pipe bursts, first check with the landlord, superintendent, or utility company. Healthy skepticism is not rude. A legitimate handyman will understand inquiries.

Unknown persons stole clothing from a store in Wiesbaden's Wilhelmstraße overnight into Tuesday. The store owner discovered the break-in upon arriving for work on Tuesday morning. The perpetrators damaged the lock on the entrance door and took several high-value clothing items before fleeing undetected.

Unknown individuals gained access to the basement of a multi-family home in the 'Am Ruhwehr' street between Monday, 22:15 and Tuesday, 07:10, and stole a black Canyon Mountain Bike, model Neuron CF 8, worth several thousand euros from a storage room.
In the 'Sonnenhoehe' street, the perpetrators gained access to the underground garage of a multi-family home between Monday, 21:30 and Tuesday, 17:00, forced open the lock of a lime green Canyon Mountain Bike, model Spectral 29 CF 8, worth several thousand euros, and took it.
No suspects have been identified in either case.

(fp)Several items were stolen from a car in the Hollerbornstraße between Saturday and Monday. Unknown individuals opened a parked Opel Insignia and took various electronic devices and a bank card. The total value is estimated at several hundred euros.

(fp)Between Sunday evening and Tuesday afternoon, a car was damaged in the Ludwigstraße in Mainz-Kostheim. The owner of an Opel Grandland discovered that the entire left side of his vehicle had been scratched on the afternoon of the 23rd. No suspects have been identified.
