VR Bank Fulda Inspires Young Minds on Girls' and Boys' Day 2024

Curiosity, team spirit, and real insights into the world of finance: This year's Girls' and Boys' Day saw VR Bank Fulda welcome numerous students for a behind-the-scenes look at their regional financial partner.

Guided by first-year traineesā€”young ambassadors of a modern, forward-thinking employer cultureā€”the participants explored the bank's daily operations.

"Our trainees are the best examples of how diverse, responsible, and deeply rooted in the region a career with us can be," emphasized Torsten Hopf, Head of Human Resources at VR Bank Fulda, during the welcome address.

A Day of Impressions and Connections

After an introduction to the cooperative principle and the varied roles of bankers, the students gained fascinating insights into departments such as Private Banking, Corporate Banking, and Customer Service. They discovered just how multifaceted and digital work at a modern regional bank can be.

In a subsequent quiz and team activities, the young participants showcased their knowledgeā€”and, above all, their enthusiasm. During the feedback session, many praised the open atmosphere and the dedication of the trainees who accompanied them throughout the day.
