Three Arrested in Dietzenbach on Suspicion of Drug Trafficking

Police provisionally detained three suspects in a parking lot on Offenbacher Straße in Dietzenbach on Thursday evening, just before 7 p.m. The men, aged 20, 24, and 30, are now under investigation for alleged commercial drug trafficking, authorities confirmed.

Vehicle Had Previously Drawn Attention

According to investigators, the operation was triggered by a tip from an observant witness. The witness reported that in the days prior, a dark gray Volkswagen Golf with Frankfurt license plates had been seen repeatedly in the parking lot, where drugs were allegedly being sold. A patrol unit responded to the scene on Thursday evening, conducted a check, and took the three men into provisional custody.

Hashish, Cash, and Unknown Powder Seized

During a search of the vehicle, officers recovered approximately one kilogram of hashish, along with precision scales, packaging materials, and around €10,500 in cash. They also seized a white powder, which is now being analyzed as part of the ongoing investigation.

Criminal Police Seek Further Witnesses

The Criminal Investigation Department (Kripo) is appealing for additional witnesses who may have information about the gray car or the individuals involved. Tips can be reported to the police hotline at 069 8098-1234.
