Thieves damage Bad König parking meter in failed heist

Unknown perpetrators attempted to break into a parking meter in the street 'Am Bahndamm' overnight on Friday (26.9.). Between 00:00 and 08:00, the criminals tampered with the meter and tried to steal the cash box.

The attempt failed, and the perpetrators fled in an unknown direction without any loot. The damage to the meter amounted to around €1,000.
