Among them is a coin dedicated to Kamensk-Uralsky, featuring a raised image of an artistic element from the stele "Kamensk-Uralsky – City of Labor Valor," unveiled in November 2023.

Each commemorative coin will have a mintage of one million pieces. All are legal tender at face value, according to the Central Bank's press service. The new series also includes coins for Barnaul, Kirov, Kolomna, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Krasnoyarsk, Magadan, and Penza.

The Bank of Russia began minting 10-ruble coins honoring Cities of Labor Valor in 2021. Part of the non-precious commemorative coin series, they are made of steel with a brass-plated finish—just like the standard 10-ruble coins that have been in circulation in Russia since 2009.
