Gießen: Unknown insults and attacks - Witness appeal
After an incident on the market square involving a 25-year-old man, the police are looking for witnesses. The man, who lives in Gießen, was out with a group of three on Friday evening (19 September) when the group was suddenly insulted by an unknown person. The unknown person then struck the 25-year-old several times on the head with a drink can and fled. The 25-year-old was taken to a clinic with minor injuries. The unknown person is described as follows: He is between 35 and 40 years old, approximately 1.70 to 1.75 meters tall, bald, wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts, and a white bandage on his right forearm. Witnesses are asked to contact the Gießen-Nord police station on 0641/7006-3755.
Heuchelheim: Injuries after attack - Witness appeal
On Friday (19 September), unknown persons suddenly attacked a 35-year-old man from Marburg in the Rodheimer Straße. The Marburg resident was walking on the sidewalk towards Biebertal at around 15:55 when two younger men suddenly appeared and knocked him to the ground. Another accomplice then joined in and also attacked him. The two younger men fled in an unknown direction. The third man got into a car with a Gießen license plate and drove away. The Marburg resident was taken to a clinic with injuries to his face and arm. Description of the suspects: 1. He was between 17 and 18 years old, about 1.75 meters tall, darkly dressed, with blonde curly hair. 2. He was between 16 and 18 years old, about 1.80 meters tall, with a darker skin tone and short hair. 3. He was about 30 years old, approximately 1.70 meters tall, and had a sturdy build.
