A brazen act of hate left Fulda's public square scarred with Nazi symbols. Authorities now race to track down those behind the overnight vandalism spree.

Pink swastikas and hate symbols deface Fulda's White Rose Square in overnight attack

Between Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, unknown perpetrators defaced multiple locations around *White Rose Square* with pink spray paint. The vandals sprayed eight swastikas, two reversed "SS runes," and unconstitutional symbols and slogans onto the ground, a bench, a utility box, two walls, the sidewalk, and a street sign. The damage is estimated at around €500. Fulda police have launched an investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact the East Hesse Police Headquarters at +49 661 105-0, any other police station, or the online reporting portal at www.polizei.hessen.de.
