- Stolen rental bike offered for sale: 35-year-old arrested - Offenbach (cb) A rental bike that the owner company reported stolen in June was offered for sale on an internet platform on Friday. An employee of the company from Frankfurt noticed this and consequently informed the police. The deployed officers were able to temporarily arrest the suspected seller in Pfarrstraße (10s house numbers) during a simulated sale of the two-wheeler. The searches ordered by the responsible public prosecutor's office in the suspect's residential and business premises led to the discovery of the advertised bike. This was secured on site and later handed over to the owner company. The Offenbach suspect will now face charges, among other things, of receiving stolen goods. The perpetrators spray-painted several letters and symbols in pink paint on the school container between Friday, 6:30 PM and Monday, 8:40 AM, causing approximately 800 euros in damage. - Allegedly drunk and drugged driver causes high property damage - Langen (me) Four damaged vehicles and several traffic offenses are the result of a traffic accident on Monday evening. According to current findings, a Mini driver was traveling along Bahnstraße at around 7:20 PM and collided with a Ford parked on the left side of the road. Due to the impact, the car spun and collided with a Sprinter on the opposite side of the road. Flying debris also damaged a parked Audi. The total damage is estimated at over 30,000 euros. Since the investigation revealed that the driver was apparently under the influence of alcohol and drugs, the 42-year-old had to accompany the police officers to the police station. He will now have to answer charges, among other things, of endangering road traffic.
- Witness search after bike theft at the station - Seligenstadt Unknown thieves stole a "Rockrider mountain bike" along with a neon yellow helmet from a train station between 7 AM and 2 PM on Thursday. The owner had secured his bike and helmet with a combination lock to the bike rack around 7:10 AM. He had fed the lock through the front wheel and frame before locking it to the rack and then took the train to school. The theft was discovered around 2 PM, with the bike still having a luggage carrier and additional reflectors on the spokes.
