NRW's €2,000 Inclusion Grants Now Open for Community Projects

North Rhine-Westphalia’s Inklusionsscheck NRW program is offering €2,000 grants to support inclusive projects. The scheme, launched in 2019, helps clubs and community groups create opportunities for people with and without disabilities. Funding is now open for festivals, workshops, exhibitions, and other initiatives that promote participation and break down social barriers. The Inclusion Voucher program has already made a difference across the region. In 2022 alone, over 400 projects received a total of €812,000 in funding. Two successful applicants from Viersen, run by Special-Fly e.V., used the grants for a swimming program and a mobile Snoezelen sensory room.

This year’s application process is straightforward. Interested groups can submit their proposals online before the September 30 deadline. The program continues to focus on fostering interaction and ensuring equal access to cultural, sporting, and social activities.

With funding available until the end of September, local organisations have a chance to bring inclusive projects to life. The program’s track record shows its impact, from sensory rooms to community events. Successful applicants will receive €2,000 to help turn their ideas into reality.
