Mysterious chemical barrels dumped near Dietzenbach spark urgent probe

A suspicious dumping of chemical barrels has triggered an environmental investigation near Dietzenbach. Several large containers were found abandoned in a wooded area off Dietzenbacher Straße on Saturday evening. Authorities are now examining the spilled substance and searching for those responsible.

The discovery happened at around 6:20 PM when a woman spotted multiple blue barrels and smaller containers near Neusalzer Straße. Some of the drums held up to 200 litres, and an unknown liquid had leaked into the surrounding soil. Firefighters quickly secured the site, containing the spill to prevent further contamination.
