Koblenz Savings Bank hits €2.95B in deposits with record 2025 growth

Koblenz Savings Bank has reported strong growth in 2025, with customer deposits climbing to €2.95 billion. The bank also expanded its assets to €5.72 billion while continuing its commitment to local investment and community support. The bank's financial performance improved significantly last year. Operating profit reached €71.3 million, supported by a rise in customer deposits and asset growth. Alongside this, it issued €353 million in private mortgage loans, helping nearly 1,600 families buy homes.

In 2025, the bank also sold 213 properties, reinforcing its position as a leading real estate broker in Koblenz and the Mayen-Koblenz district. A new service, 'transparent mortgage financing', was launched to simplify borrowing for customers. Community support remained a priority. The bank donated €2.6 million to over 1,000 clubs and social projects. It also reinvested €109 million into the region as part of its 'citizen's dividend' programme. Additionally, its mobile app was recognised as the 'Best Banking App' in a recent industry study. Looking ahead, the bank will open a new branch in Horchheim in April 2026. This expansion follows the broader model of Germany's 377 Sparkassen, which reinvest profits into local initiatives across 300 cities and 200 districts.

The bank's 2025 results highlight its financial strength and regional impact. With rising deposits, expanded services, and continued community funding, it maintains a key role in Koblenz's economy. The upcoming Horchheim branch will further extend its local presence.
