Hessian Crafts Association Names Pierre Schlosser as New Managing Director for 2025
The Hessian Crafts and Trades Association (HHT) has announced a new managing director to take over in late 2025. Pierre Schlosser will step into the role on December 1, replacing an interim leader. The organisation, which represents over 78,000 craft businesses in Hesse, has also seen recent changes in its executive team. Bernhard Mundschenk, the former political representative of the HHT, retired in May 2025. He had led the association since April 2016 while also serving as chief executive of the Wiesbaden Chamber of Skilled Crafts. His departure left a temporary gap, filled by Dr. Christoph Gelking from May 1, 2025.
Pierre Schlosser, currently the chief executive of the Wiesbaden Chamber, will take on the managing director position at the HHT in December. He has also been managing director of the Association of Hessian Chambers of Skilled Crafts since October 1, 2025. His appointment follows a period of interim leadership under Gelking.
Stefan Füll continues as president of the HHT, a role he has held since November 4, 2020. Alexander Repp remains vice president and also leads the Employers' Association of Hessian Skilled Trades (AHH). The HHT collaborates with regional partners, including the Frankfurt-Rhein-Main Chamber of Crafts, which works with institutions like IHK Frankfurt and Goethe University on specific projects. The HHT now prepares for Schlosser's arrival as its permanent managing director. His dual role in both the association and the Wiesbaden Chamber suggests closer coordination between regional craft bodies. The organisation continues to represent thousands of businesses across Hesse, maintaining its focus on trade and industry partnerships.
