24/7 Cash Access: Glottertal Welcomes New Central ATM

A new ATM has been officially unveiled in Glottertal, restoring round-the-clock cash access for the community. The machine, installed directly in front of the town hall, was inaugurated on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, filling a gap in local cash services that had left residents without convenient access.

According to Sparkasse Freiburg-NĂśrdlicher Breisgau, the ATM was implemented in partnership with provider Cardpoint. Customers of the bank can withdraw money free of charge, and the machine is available at all hours.

The location near the town hall was chosen to ensure maximum accessibility for all residents. The bank emphasized that creating a simple, reliable solution for the community was a top priority.

Local authorities have also welcomed the new facility. Town hall officials noted that the lack of cash access had been keenly felt by residents, and the ATM now closes that gap.

The launch strengthens Glottertal's local infrastructure, underscoring the continued importance of cash access—especially in rural areas, where it remains a vital part of basic services for many.
