Easter car rental prices in 2026 will drop in most countries compared to 2025, according to a new analysis. The study covered around 11 million rental offers across 15 nations. However, travellers in the U.S. and Germany will face higher costs next year.

The survey found that 11 out of 15 countries will see cheaper Easter rentals in 2026. Austria leads the decline, with prices falling by over 50% compared to 2025. Canada, the UK, Ireland, Greece, and France also recorded significant drops.

On the other hand, the U.S. experienced the steepest increase—nearly 25% more expensive than the previous year. Germany followed, with a 12% rise, making it one of the priciest destinations for Easter rentals. Easter 2026 falls on the first weekend of April, a peak travel period. Prices fluctuate based on location, demand, and seasonal trends. The analysis highlights how costs can shift dramatically between years, depending on market conditions.

Travellers booking Easter rentals in 2026 will find better deals in most countries, especially Austria. But those heading to the U.S. or Germany should expect to pay more. The data reflects broader trends in travel demand and regional pricing differences.
