Drunk man arrested in Wiesbaden after attacking police officers

A 32-year-old man resisted police officers and attempted to strike them on Saturday evening (September 27) at the Lorelei Ring in Wiesbaden. This was reported by the West Hessian Police Headquarters.

Around 11:40 PM, the 32-year-old initially insulted one of the officers on duty. When the officers attempted to intervene, the man resisted and swung at them. The officers then subdued him and took him into temporary custody.

The officers were unharmed during the incident. As the man was intoxicated, he was taken to police custody for sobering up, following consultation with a judge.

Investigations are now underway against the 32-year-old for insulting an officer and resisting law enforcement.
