- Tool theft from handyman's vehicle - Großkrotzenburg
(kl) Thieves stole tools from a white Ford Transit between Tuesday, 5 PM and Wednesday morning, 7 AM. To gain access, they cut a part of the right sliding door and opened the vehicle, which was parked in the Taunusstraße (50s house numbers). They made off with power tools and drills among other items. The police are now looking for witnesses who can call the criminal police on 06181 100-123.
- Motorcyclist collides with Nissan: one person injured - Ronneburg
(cb) On Wednesday, around 6:30 PM, there was a traffic accident on the state road between Ronneburg and Langenselbold, in which one person sustained minor injuries. According to current information, a 19-year-old in a blue Nissan Micra was driving on the state road 3009 towards Langenselbold, followed by a 19-year-old man on his motorcycle. The Nissan driver had to brake suddenly, which the motorcycle driver apparently noticed too late and collided with the Nissan. The 19-year-old from Ronneburg then fell off his motorcycle. He was taken to a hospital for medical treatment. The total material damage is estimated at around 5,000 euros. Witnesses of the accident are asked to call the Langenselbold police station on 06183 91155-0.
