Chaotic late-night brawl in Wiesbaden leaves five injured after pepper spray attack

Five people were injured in a large brawl on Wiesbaden's Wagemannstraße in the early hours of Saturday morning, police reported.

The altercation broke out at around 2:18 a.m. among a group of about 20 people. Since many of those involved were heavily intoxicated, officers at the scene were unable to determine who had started the fight or who was attacking whom.

The violent confrontation left five people injured—most of them bystanders who had tried to intervene. Two were struck in the face, two others were injured by pepper spray, and one person broke several fingernails in the scuffle.
