Witnesses described the assailant as appearing to be of southern origin, around 18 years old, very thin, and between 170 and 175 cm tall. He had long, dark hair tied in a braid and looked unusually young. The suspect spoke accent-free German and wore a dark Adidas tracksuit. The victim was injured in the pepper spray attack and required hospital treatment.

5. Ruptured Diesel Tank Causes Spill on A3 Near Limburg, Cologne-Bound, Wiesbadener Kreuz to Limburg-Nord, Friday, September 12, 2025, 12:49 a.m.

A truck driver unknowingly lost nearly his entire diesel supply on the Autobahn early Friday morning. The 64-year-old Bulgarian driver was hauling a semi-trailer on the A3 between Wiesbadener Kreuz and the Limburg-Nord exit when, around 12:50 a.m., he noticed his fuel tank had ruptured near Limburg-Nord, spilling diesel across the roadway. Multiple motorists reported the hazardous spill simultaneously.

A 52-year-old Romanian trucker, also driving a semi-trailer toward Cologne, skidded on the slick surface near the Bad Camberg service area and sideswiped the outer guardrail. The damage is estimated at around €6,000.

The Idstein Autobahn maintenance crew cleaned the road and reopened it to traffic.
