Woman injured after car hits construction trailer on B26 near Darmstadt

A 51-year-old woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash on the B26 early Thursday morning. The accident, which happened near Darmstadt, forced a full road closure for over an hour while emergency services responded. The collision took place around 7:00 a.m. on August 14, between Roßdorf and Darmstadt. The woman’s car struck a parked construction trailer, leaving her with injuries that required immediate attention.

First responders arrived quickly to provide medical care at the scene. She was later taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The road remained completely shut until approximately 8:25 a.m., causing delays for morning commuters.

The woman’s condition after reaching the hospital has not yet been confirmed. Authorities have not released further details about the cause of the crash or the extent of her injuries.
