Hit-and-run leaves €10,000 damage to parked Ford Transit in Kirchditmold

A white Ford Transit was damaged in a hit-and-run incident on Rotheweg in Kirchditmold last Thursday. Police are now searching for witnesses as the fleeing vehicle left behind traces of red paint on the van. The estimated repair cost exceeds €10,000. The incident took place between 10:45 a.m. and 2 p.m. while the Ford Transit was parked. The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene without stopping. Investigators later discovered red paint marks on the damaged van, suggesting the fleeing car was at least partially red.

According to authorities, the suspect vehicle headed toward Strassenaeckerweg after the collision. Police have urged anyone with information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
