On Sunday evening (7.9.) at around 15:55, an incident occurred at a fast-food restaurant in Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe, where a 33-year-old woman used pepper spray against the staff.
According to initial findings, the woman was in the restaurant with her 13-year-old niece to order food. A verbal argument ensued with the restaurant's employees after she complained about the state of the food. Despite repeated requests to leave, she refused and was eventually escorted out by a staff member. Shortly afterwards, the 33-year-old re-entered the sales area and sprayed the pepper spray in the direction of the employees. Two employees suffered minor eye and respiratory irritation, but medical treatment was not necessary.
The fast-food restaurant had to temporarily close as contamination of the food by the pepper spray could not be ruled out. All goods had to be ultimately destroyed.
A patrol from the Federal Police Inspectorate Kassel arrested the woman and initiated further police measures. After the measures were completed, the 33-year-old was released.
Witnesses sought! The Federal Police Inspectorate Kassel is asking for persons who observed the incident or have information about the course of events to contact them on the telephone number 0561-81616 0.
