Kassel police hunt vandals after 'Free Palestine' graffiti hits Harbor Bridge

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, three unknown individuals spray-painted the words "Free Palestine" in large red letters on the pedestrian path of the Harbor Bridge in the Wesertor district. Police have launched an investigation into criminal damage and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Around midnight, motorists reported seeing three people wearing hooded sweatshirts painting the multi-meter political slogan onto the bridge. Preliminary estimates place the cost of the damage in the hundreds of euros. The perpetrators fled the scene before officers arrived and could not be located despite extensive search efforts.

The State Protection Criminal Investigation Division is urging anyone with information to contact Kassel Police Headquarters at 49 561 9100.
