West Hesse Police welcomes 100+ new recruits in historic ceremony
Over 100 new employees began their careers at the West Hesse Police Headquarters on Monday, August 4, 2025. A formal ceremony at Biebrich Palace in Wiesbaden marked their introduction to the force, with senior officers and officials in attendance to welcome them. The event was held at the historic Biebrich Palace, where Stefanie KĂśnig, Director of Operations, stood in for the agencyâs leadership to greet the recruits. She introduced them to the structure of the headquarters, with senior officers presenting their respective departments and directorates. Support units were also highlighted, ensuring the newcomers knew where to turn for future assistance.
Gert-Uwe Mende, Lord Mayor of Wiesbaden, attended the ceremony, adding to its significance. After the presentations and formalities, the new employees were officially sent off to start their assignments in a closing ceremony. The West Hesse Police Headquarters extended its best wishes for a successful start to all the recruits.
