Thieves steal 45 kg of scrap metal from Melsungen garden in broad daylight

Around 45 kilograms of scrap metal was taken from a home in Melsungen last week. The theft happened on Thursday, August 21, between midday and early evening. Police are now asking for witnesses to come forward. The incident took place at a property on Nürnberger Straße. Thieves entered the garden without being seen and removed old guttering and heating pipes. The stolen items had been stored outside.

The burglars left the scene undetected. Authorities believe the theft occurred sometime between 12:30 PM and 6:00 PM. No further details about the suspects have been released.
