Teenager attacks police officer during routine check at Wiesbaden station
A 16-year-old resisted a police check at Wiesbaden train station on Thursday afternoon, injuring an officer in the process, authorities reported.
At around 4:30 p.m., officers attempted to stop the teenager near the station plaza. However, the youth tried to evade the check. When a police officer restrained him and took him to the ground, the 16-year-old allegedly kicked at the officer multiple times while on the ground, causing minor injuries.
Prosecutors have now launched an investigation against the teenager on suspicion of resisting law enforcement.
