Sberbank warns of cashless payment disruptions in Krasnodar Krai until May 9

Sberbank has warned residents in Krasnodar Krai about possible disruptions to cashless payments from May 5 to 9. The issues stem from restrictions on mobile internet, affecting access to banking services during this period. Customers may struggle to log into the Sberbank app or complete transactions via mobile data. ATMs could also fail to process requests, and SMS notifications from the short code 900 might not arrive as usual.

To avoid problems, the bank recommends switching to Wi-Fi for online transactions. Confirmation codes will still appear in the transaction history within SberBank Online when connected to a stable network. The bank has urged customers to stay calm and use alternative methods where possible. No further technical details about the outage have been provided.

The disruption will last until May 9, impacting mobile-based banking across the region. Customers relying on cashless payments are advised to plan ahead and use Wi-Fi for essential transactions. Sberbank has not indicated whether compensation or additional support will be offered.
